Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us by means of a form on the website or by e-mail, your data will be stored for six months in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow this only in individual cases. The deactivation of cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web analytics

Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, which is operated and provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to taking steps to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to the website, i.a. recorded the following data:

• Pages you visited

• Your behavior on the pages (for example, clicks, scroll behavior, and length of stay)

• Your approximate location (country and city)

• Your IP address (in abbreviated form, so that no clear assignment is possible)

• Technical information such as browser, Internet provider, terminal and screen resolution

• Source of origin of your visit (ie via which website or via which advertising material you came to us)

This data is transmitted to a Google server in the USA. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement. Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that will allow you to be recognized during future website visits. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which allows the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form for an indefinite period. If you do not agree with the collection, you can prevent them with the one-time installation of the browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics. Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and / or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Facebook

Our online offer uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a gray tile, the terms "Like", "Like" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and the appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When a user calls up a function of this online offer that contains such a plugin, his device establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted from Facebook directly to the user's device, which integrates it into the online offer. User profiles of the users can be created from the processed data. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs the users according to our knowledge.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the online offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your device directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save his IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is saved in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users can be found in Facebook's data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ .

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him via this online offer and link it to his member data stored on Facebook, he must log out of Facebook before using our online offer and delete his cookies. Further settings and contradictions regarding the use of data for advertising purposes are possible within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US website http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

Our online offer includes so-called “Facebook pixels” from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our offer as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called "Facebook ads". Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to only display the Facebook ads we have placed to those Facebook users who have shown an interest in our website. This means that with the help of the Facebook pixel we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a nuisance. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also understand the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes, by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.

The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you visit our website and can have a so-called cookie on your device, i.e. save a small file. If you then log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our website will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us, so it does not allow us to draw conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. Facebook processes the data in accordance with Facebook's data usage guidelines. Accordingly, you can find further information on the functioning of the remarketing pixel and generally on the display of Facebook ads in the data usage policy of Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

You can object to the recording by the Facebook pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook ads. To do this, you can call up the page set up by Facebook and there follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or via the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU website http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

To object to the use of the “Facebook pixel” on this website, you can also do this by clicking on the following opt-out link:
